Late Night Hosts Joke About O.J. Simpson Being Granted Parole (VIDEO)

The late night hosts joked about O.J. Simpson being granted parole during their Thursday night opening monologues. Watch the videos below!

As Gossip Cop reported, the former footballer player was granted parole on Thursday less than nine years into his 33-year prison sentence for armed robbery and kidnapping. He has been imprisoned at Nevada’s Lovelock Correctional Center since 2008 after he held two sports memorabilia dealers at gunpoint in their Las Vegas hotel. Following the news of Simpson’s early release, the late night hosts had plenty to say about Thursday’s new ruling.

“Just a heads up before we start,” Jimmy Fallon told his audience. “If any of you call an Uber any time soon, you might want to make sure it’s not a white Ford Bronco. Just be careful.” He added, “That’s right, O.J. Simpson was officially granted parole today, and could be out of jail by October. When asked what he plans to do first, he said, ‘Well, catch up on all those shows about O.J. I heard they’re great!'”

Fallon went on, “O.J. actually video-conferenced into his parole hearing today, because the board was 120 miles away from his prison. Not a good sign when even the parole board are scared to be near him.”

And during his “Jimmy Kimmel Live” monologue, the talk show host offered, “As you’ve probably heard by now, this afternoon Nevada State parole board unanimously voted to grant O.J. parole. He’s served nine years for armed robbery. And O.J. Simpson, for those of you too young to remember, is the second most embarrassing person associated with the Kardashian family, right after Scott Disick.”

Kimmel amusingly added, “He could be released by October 1st. He’ll be picked up by the Lovelock correctional facility via helicopter and flown directly to the set of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ and ‘Bachelor in Paradise,’ whichever one is in production.” Watch the videos below!
